Quilting 102

This is the second class in our Beginning Quilting series - Beginner 102. In addition to refining the skills you learned in Quilting 101, you will learn how to piece half-square triangles, hourglass blocks, flip and stitch, plus flying geese blocks. You will assemble these different types of blocks into the Midnight Garden block. The finished size is 20 x 20", which can be turned into a mini wall hanging, a pillow, or make more blocks and have a throw-sized quilt.
At the end of this class, you will have completed a 20 x 20" block.
We will be using 4 Fat Quarters and background fabric..
The objectives for this 102 class are to learn:
- Easy method for half-square triangles, flying geese, hourglass blocks, & flip and stitch
- More precision in sewing
- Matching up seams

Fabric (4 FQs and 5/8 yards of background fabric)
Sewing Machine with 1/4" foot

Seam Ripper
Rotary Cutter
Acrylic Ruler - if you have ( not necessary) a small square ruler/ half square triangle ruler
Small Scissors
Marking pen/pencil
