Color Study Block of the Month
A monthly class for mastering fabric selection
We will meet on the 2nd or 3rd Friday of each month, for eight months, to discuss different aspects of color and use what we learn to make quilt blocks. This is a discussion-based class, and all sewing will be done at home. We will share our blocks each month to inspire each other.
The registration fee is $30 which includes "The Quilters Field Guide to Color" book. Each month there will be a fee of $20.00.
No fabric is included. We urge you to use your stash, but will help you select fabrics if you prefer.
Supply List:
You do not need to bring anything to the first class. Fabric types and amounts will be discussed during the first class. Recommended fabric for the blocks will be scraps, fat quarters, fat eighths, 10" squares and/or 5" squares. Background fabric amounts will vary with your chosen size and layout.
