Beginner Tote Bag
Learn how to make this fun tote. Easy to make and looks so
professionally made! Great for beginner sewers. I will show you
how to cut and piece fabric to make front and back panels, how
to attach handles and assemble the tote.
Materials needed
4-6 pieces of Scraps of fabric
(10” squares or fat quarters 18”x 22”)
1.5 yds. fabric for handles ( or 1” heavy cotton webbing)
Recommended fabrics to use:
canvas
denim
100% cotton fabric
Lining- 1/2 yd. 100% cotton fabric
1 yd. fusible 101 pellon interfacing (if you are using 100% cotton
fabric)
Sewing Machine
pins or sewing clips
sharp fabric scissors
Rotary cutter and mat
quilt ruler (6”x24”)
