Rue Bucket Bag
The “Rue Bucket Bag” is a great bag for everyday use. It has an outside pocket to hold your phone and a zippered interior pocket. The straps are adjustable too. The bag can be made with, canvas, denim or cork (which is what I recommend. It is also easy to clean with a damp cloth and is water resistant. Great to sew too!).
This bag is easy to make, but please note that you should have basic sewing skills and feel comfortable using your sewing machine.

Supplies:
Rue Bucket Bag Pattern
18” x 27” cork fabric (main outside body, pocket, side tabs)
9” x 27” cork fabric (top accent, long adjustable handle, cording)
3/4 yard cotton fabric for lining
1/3 yard pellon SF101 iron on interfacing
10” or longer plastic zipper
Hardware:
1-1” slide
2-1” swivel hooks
2-1” D-rings
8-1” snap together grommets
Basic supplies:
sewing machine
jeans needle
polyester thread to match fabric
rotary cutter, mat and ruler
plastic clips
stapler
rubber mallet
marking pens
small scissor
snips
regular scissor
Optional:
Leather “handmade” tag with 2-6mm rivets
