Boho Heart Block of the Month

A 12-month program beginning in October.  A puzzle of beautiful blocks that will keep sewers of all levels entertained including both hand and machine piecing.

We will meet one Friday of each month for a 30 minute demo followed by an optional two hour sit and sew.  You can also use the sit and sew for additional help, to review any past blocks or if you missed a previous demo.

Supplies:

4-4.5 yards of assorted fabrics for blocks.  Layer cakes work well as a starting point, then add fat quarters and scraps.

84 1.5” strips or approx. 3 yards of low volume prints for background.  Background fabric is not needed until month ten and we will discuss later on.

Required: Template plastic, invisible and coordinating thread for applique, 6” or 6.5” square ruler, 6x12 or larger ruler, rotary cutter, cutting mat, usual sewing supplies

Optional: 6” ruler with super grid, 2.5” fussy cut ruler, 18 and 30 degree Dresden plate rulers.  Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Circles.
